Signing a contract is exciting, now you have the long and lonely task of delivering the book.
The Book Writers’ Club meets online once a fortnight via Zoom call from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. This gives an opportunity share experiences, review progress and set goals for the next fortnight. Our six month rolling program will also introduce you to guest speakers from the book industry. The aim is to bring a greater sense of purpose to your project developing more effective writing strategies.
Working with the same group of writers over several weeks, you will gain the benefits of group accountability and mutual support, powerful aids to overcoming procrastination and ‘writer’s block’.
Its easy to allow urgent distractions to undermine the important task of writing your book.
By signing up on a Writing Progress Day, you will take your first step towards carving a block of dedicated time in your diary. Our semi-structured online program, hosted on Zoom will help you to move your book project forward with greater focus and purpose.
This highly practical day begins at 9am and finishes at 4pm. The program will include dedicated chunks of writing time followed by short feedback sessions, as well as short presentations on different aspects of book writing aimed at helping you to sharpen your writing practice.
