Writing Progress Day

A opportunity for isolated writers to meet, set personal goals and share useful tips with one another...rebuilding self-belief along the way.

This highly practical day held on Zoom begins at 9am and finishes at 4pm, where all distractions are cast aside for the day and writing goals are met.

Is a Writing Progress Day right for me?

FAQ's

  • At what stage of my academic journey should I attend a Writing Progress Day?

You can join at any stage – our Writing Progress Days are designed to help anyone with a large writing project. Be this a thesis, paper, grant application or book.

  • As the Zoom session is all day, can attendees briefly leave the call for work or personal matters?

Of course – we appreciate throughout the day people may need to drop out of the session for personal or work commitments.

  • Can the session leader help us on an individual level with our writing projects?

The purpose of the session is to create a space to work on your project and discuss issues as a group. This will involve sharing writing tips, but the session leader cannot provide coaching or proofreading/stylistic advice for individuals.
